Tell us a bit about yourself:
Born and raised in India, I studied medicine at Punjab University before graduating and continuing studies for a postgraduate qualification in Ireland, Bermuda, Australia and the USA. Since then I have practiced medicine for a total of 18 years, of which 14 were spent in psychiatry. I now work as a consultant in geriatric psychiatry and have a keen interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). In my current job I am actively involved in raising dementia awareness as per National Dementia Strategy. I am also an affiliate member of the Royal College of psychiatrist & the Irish College of Psychiatrist and an active member of spirituality & psychiatry faculty. I am married to Christina with whom I have two daughters – Manisha, 12, and Nikkita, nine.

What inspired you to write/become and author?
My revelation motivated me to write this book and share my wonderful news with peers and patients alike. I completed the book after around five months. Now I have produced a powerful tool for anyone seeking answers to the unanswered questions in many areas of their life. My title deals with emotions, relations and mental health and I know this will completely transform people’s lives and equip them with vital strategies to overcome suffering.
